¡Hola! Soy Mayra Nevárez.

I am passionate about sharing the richness of my native language and the Hispanic culture with students of all ages and levels.

My journey in teaching Spanish began when I moved to Switzerland. There, I discovered the value of passing on, with warmth and care, the stories, traditions, and music that bring our language to life. I also experienced what it is like to learn a language from scratch, and that journey helped me understand how to teach in a way that eases the anxiety of not knowing how to communicate in another language and in a new country.

It would be a pleasure to connect with you and accompany you in discovering the fascinating and joyful world of Spanish.

My goal is to create a safe and motivating space where you feel free to express yourself, to make mistakes without fear, and—above all—to grow as a Spanish learner.
